I have always been an artsy and creative person. In middle school however, I got really into anime. I admired the stories, different varieties in styles, and the beautiful animation. Anime made me more motivated to practice my art regularly. In high school, I had an art teacher who led me to graphic design and it clicked. I fell in love and started dedicating myself.

When I was deciding what I wanted to go to college for, graphic design felt like the logical answer as I loved it and I already had some practice under my belt from high school. I went to McHenry County College to pursue their Associates in Graphic Design and that is where I’m currently at.
